Republicans Made Donald Trump Successful

March 2, 2016 by The Staff Leave a Comment

The Republican PartyTRANSCRIPT
March 2, 2016

TRUMP: This has been an amazing evening.

You have to be born in the country. There’s no birth certificate, only a certificate of live birth, which is a different thing and a much much lower standard.

ROMNEY: Being in Donald Trump’s magnificent hotel and having his endorsement is a delight.

TRUMP: When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.

CRUZ: I liked Donald Trump. He’s bold, he’s brash. I salute Donald Trump for focusing on the need to address immigration.

TRUMP: You know, you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever.

REINCE PRIEBUS: I think it’s a net positive for everybody and I also think it’s an indicator that a lot of people are just sick and tired of Washington. I think Donald Trump’s tapped into that.

TRUMP: Negotiating with Japan, Negotiation with China. When these people walk in the room they don’t say, ‘Oh hello, how’s the weather? It’s beautiful outside.’ They say, ‘We want deal!’

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: Mr. Trump told me yesterday he’d support you over Hillary Clinton if you get the nomination. Would you support him?

JEB BUSH: Yea, ‘I would, of course.’We need to be unified.

TRUMP: Donald J Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States.

CRUZ: I understand why Donald made that proposal.

PRIEBUS: Clearly he’s the frontrunner. he’s saying things that a lot of people agree with.

CHRIS CUOMO: Trump sweeping 7 states, now vowing to unite the Republican party.

She is in no way affiliated with actual Hobby Lobby stores, and no, you can’t make a working IUD from pipe cleaners and glitter. So don’t try. All craft materials in this video were purchased at Michael’s.

Hobby Lobby’s Push to Deny Birth Control Is All About Controlling Women

July 5, 2014 by The Staff Leave a Comment

The inspiration for Hobby Lobby, and 71 other “religious” corporations, to sue for a religious exemption of the contraception mandate is not about abortion, but about controlling women and inflicting consequences for not adhering to their Puritanical belief that women in their employ, can not, and will not, have sexual relations without paying a heavy price. In fact, the idea of forcing women, on pain of harsh consequences, to adhere to strict religious and moral behavior defined by sententious and severe piety is why fundamentalist Christianity is every bit as harsh as Islamic Sharia Law’s control over women.

Tea Party Influence on the Las Vegas Shooters

Tea Party Adopts ‘Don’t Tread On Me’ Flag also known as the Gadsden Flag.

Last weekend, as the House prepared to vote on the health care overhaul legislation, a group of Republican lawmakers unfurled a large “Don’t Tread on Me” flag from a balcony of the Capitol building, rallying their supporters below. The flag has become a staple at Tea Party rallies. Melissa Block speaks to Joseph Ellis, professor of history at Mount Holyoke College, about the history of the “Don’t Tread on Me” flag and its use by the Tea Party movement.

The Two Faces of Hobby Lobby

Two Faces of Hobby Lobby

The Two Faces of Hobby Lobby

READ THE ENTIRE ARTICLE AT MOTHER JONES

Is it hypocritical to to fight against the ACA because they require comprehensive contraceptive coverage and then at the same time invest heavily into compaies that manufacture and distribute specific drugs and devices that help women manage contraception?

That’s exactly what Hobby Lobby is apparently doing according to an article in Mother Jones.  Hobby Lobby’s retirment plan seems to invest in contraception manaufacturers (just a few listed below under references).

I guess when there is money to be made, it’s okay to violate their own “religious traditions”, but when it comes to providing decent health care to their employees its against their basic religious rights.

Hobby Lobby’s motivation seems to be grounded in their love of money rather than in any moral code.

According to the article at Mother Jones written by Molly Redden, “A website Hobby Lobby set up to answer questions about the Supreme Court case states that its 401(k) plan comes with “a generous company match.” In 2012, Hobby Lobby contributed $3.8 million to its employee savings plans, which had 13,400 employee participants at the beginning of that year.”

Arizona Senator Bob Worsley – Hall of Shame

February 25, 2014 by The Staff Leave a Comment

Arizona Senator Bob Worsley… so why did you vote for this inane law in the first place.  We appreciate you back tracking, but why did you put Arizona through this mess in the first place?

Voted YES, but now wants VETO

Republican Arizona Senator Bob Worsley voted to include discrimination into the State of Arizona laws by voting YES, but now wants the Governor to VETO the legislation.  Why did he vote YES in the first place.  Of course, voting NO would have been the right thing to do in the first place.  This would have avoided the mess you created to the economy of the State of Arizona.  The State doesn’t need legislators to march lock step with the Republican Party and only vote logically when there is an outcry from their constituents.

Shame on you Republican Senator Bob Worsley!

Thrivent Financial

Thrivent Financial’s Neutrality Policy is NOT so Neutral.

Thrivent Financial, once known as an “ethical company”, now has a Neutrality Policy which is NOT.

Thrivent’s Code of Conduct clearly shows they they expect “non-discrimination” to be upheld throughout their company. (PDF)

codeofconduct

But their “neutrality” statement clearly says that SEXUAL ORIENTATION is a distraction. Online Reference (URL, PDF]

neutralitypolicy

In fact, it lumps “sexual orientation” with abortion and guns. Scrutify.net is wondering why they didn’t put race, color, gender, age, national origin, religion, disability, veteran/military status in their list.

Say one thing to put a pleasant face on it, but say another thing behind that mask, uh? So where are their ethics?
